In 2010 the world's automotive industry vehicle sales record by scoring around 72 million units. The achievement is both a movement best after a storm hit the world financial and economic crisis in 2009.

From the number of sales, some brands and models achieved a profit after absorbed many consumers. In the U.S., Japan, Germany, and Europe as a whole, these brands still dominate as the top-selling car.

But China is different. In a country with spending growth in the world's largest automaker, a local alliance brand just got the best. China alone last year collecting car sales around 13.76 million units.

Honda claims Civic is the best-selling car 15th years in Canada

Thus the claim of Executive Vice President of Honda Canada Jerry Chenkin "15 years representing some of the most special to us"

Civic, Honda's most luxurious cars in the North American market, is the best-selling car in Canada for the past year. Interestingly, the acquisition makes the Civic in 2012 as the best-selling car for 15 consecutive years.

In 2012, the total was 64 962 units of the Civic sold in Canada.

Honda began producing cars in Canada in 1973 ago. A total of 3.6 million Civic produced with 1.7 million units sold directly to Canada.

Based on year-end estimate of IHS Global Insight told Forbes, December 28, 2011, despite the drop in sales, Toyota still be a little proud. Because homemade products, Toyota Corolla, managed to become the world's best-selling car this year.
